Expectations of Leaders
1. Pray for the women in your group, for your leadership team, the Bible study time, community time, and mission project. Be continuously in prayer (1 Thess. 5:16–18, Eph. 1:15–23, Phil. 4:4–7).
2. Model a lifestyle that lets others know you are a Christ-follower (Matt. 16:24–26, Rom. 12:9–21). Let no unwholesome talk come from you. Do not engage in worldly activities.
3. Encourage an authentic faith community (Acts 2:42–47, Rom. 12:1–8). Interact with your group through social media, email, and interpersonal communication. Encourage interaction between group members on a weekly basis.
4. Promote a missional lifestyle through discipleship and raise global awareness of needs around the world (Matt. 28:18–20, Matt. 9:35–38).
5. Know the Word and be diligent in studying and preparing to teach beforehand (Psalm 119, Col. 1:24–2:5, John 17:6–8).
